Program Details

“A better future for women” has started in November 2008 and will be implemented at national level until June 2011.

During these 30 months of implementation, the project aims to identify the opportunities and to develop the competencies and skills of women from rural regions and small towns to initiate small businesses or community projects. 

Objectives:

• to create new jobs,
• develop community services able to respond to the local social needs,
• change the mentalities related to the women role within traditional communities,
• create a support structure which encourages women from disadvantaged communities to get involved into community projects and to facilitate their participation on the labor market.
