Local companies and NGOs in Timisoara were provided in house advisory services, for a full month (July- August, 2008), by teams of IBM experts working jointly with a selected team of the assisted company’s employees.
The expected benefits of client companies/organizations that will gain access to top of range professional expertise of IBM CSC Fellows include:

• A quick and practical diagnosis of the company in the area(s) that fall within the scope of work of the specific consulting assignment;
• A practical and applicable action plan with short-term solutions to some of the problems identified and a medium-term strategy;
• Immediate and direct assistance to start implementation of the action plan;
• On the medium term, this intervention will contribute to improved management, operation and performances of client companies that can be measured in terms of increased competitiveness, higher profitability, market expansion, etc.

The workshop entitled “IBM Influencer Saloon” marked the official launching of the IBM Corporate Services Corps Program in Timişoara. The event was chaired by Mr. Mihai Tudor, CEO of IBM Romania, who presented the conclusions of the IBM Global CEO Study. This is a unique survey undertaken by IBM Corporation worldwide to identify the trends in the way the enterprise of the future are organized on the global market.
There was a large audience comprising various companies in Timisoara, local authorities, and media.
The representatives of the companies and NGOs selected by CEED as beneficiaries of this program highlighted their interest in the program, their expectations, and underlined the excellent cooperation with CEED Romania (please visit Testimonials section of our website).
